About
Socramed is a library of medical notes, mapped by specialty.
Medicine isn’t hard because there’s too much of it. It is hard because it usually arrives as a pile. Socramed tries to give it back as a map: first the whole, then the part you need.
How the map works
Every specialty is split into parts and topics. Each topic opens with a short overview that shows the whole picture, and a set of focused notes in a learning order, so you can read the topic from start to finish or go straight to the one note you need.
On the homepage, every note is a dot. The map grows with each publication.
How the notes are made
Notes are versioned, and they are revised in public passes: structure first, then teaching, then illustration, then glosses. Hard words get short reference cards, so a note does not stop to explain them. Notes list their sources, so you can check where a claim comes from.
The site is bilingual, English and Persian. The notes themselves are in English for now. It is fast and static, with no accounts, no ads and no tracking beyond privacy-minimised analytics. A video series is planned.
What it is not
Socramed is an educational library, not medical advice. Use it to learn. For decisions about a real patient or your own health, talk to a clinician.
Socramed is made by Erfan Bashar, a medical student in Milan.
